Why ENET’s starter runtime has boundaries.

A learning runtime should not give arbitrary source access to the host.

The idea in practice

The ENET interpreter uses a restricted syntax tree and bounded execution. It does not evaluate host JavaScript, import user code into the website process or provide file and network access to a submitted program.

What comes next

Those boundaries limit what the prototype can make today. They also create a safer starting point for learning. New capabilities need explicit design and tests, not a hidden escape hatch around the interpreter.
