Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026 · Applies to skienet.com and SKIENET services.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using skienet.com, creating a member account, or interacting with SKIENET services, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

SKIENET is owned and operated by JTWAYNE. "SKIENET", "ENET by JTWAYNE", "FIRSTMAN" and "Triangle" are names of projects owned by JTWAYNE.

2. Product status and availability

The SKIENET operating system and its editions (SKIENET 1.0, SKIENET 2.0, SKIENET Triangle and SKIENET MainBrain) are announced products in development. Prices shown on the site are informational until a release and checkout are configured.

When a release exists, SKIENET 1.0 is planned as a one-time $99.00 purchase that is non-refundable, with free upgrades to future 1.x versions. Basic access is offered as pay-what-you-want with a stated minimum for visitors who sign in.

Features described for Triangle, MainBrain and FIRSTMAN are concept and web previews today; downloadable builds are not available before an official release.

3. Member accounts

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Accounts are for one person; do not share sign-in details.

We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the community, attempt to disrupt the service, or violate these terms.

4. Community conduct

TALK, question channels, messages and the FIRSTMAN wall are community spaces. Post only content you have the right to share. Do not harass members, impersonate others, post malware, or misrepresent editorial content as community participation.

We may remove content and restrict access to community features at our discretion.

5. SKI, credits and AI answers

SKI is an AI assistant. Its answers, generated code and translations are provided for learning and prototyping; you are responsible for reviewing anything before you rely on it.

Access to SKI questions is through purchased credits or an active plan when those are configured. There is no free visitor question allowance.

6. ENET language and open source

ENET by JTWAYNE is a free, universal programming language. Its interpreter and learning source are provided under the MIT license included in the source package.

You may study, modify and teach with the ENET source under the terms of that license.

7. FIRSTMAN research

FIRSTMAN member research is stored as submitted text with a unique fingerprint so identical entries are not duplicated. Research participation requires an active OS license backed by a paid order.

Do not submit weapons, surveillance or other harmful robotics concepts. FIRSTMAN is a collaborative robotics concept project only.

8. Donations and support

Donations, pledges and pay-what-you-want amounts, where offered, are voluntary support of development and are not payment for a delivered product unless a license or receipt explicitly states otherwise.

Any product pricing is informational until checkout exists. Purchase terms at that time will be shown before you pay.

9. Disclaimers

The site, its software previews, the AI service and community content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. SKIENET and JTWAYNE are not liable for decisions you make based on content or AI output on this site.

Nothing on this site is legal, financial or investment advice. Investment and backer pages describe plans only; they are not an offer of securities.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the product grows. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and the date below will show the latest revision.
