WORLD / DESIGN
A developer tool should work without perfect vision or a mouse.
Accessibility is part of engineering quality, not a cosmetic extra.

The question
Code editing combines text, navigation and feedback. A learner needs to identify the current file, move through commands and understand errors. Color alone is an incomplete way to communicate success or failure.
How it relates to SKIENET
The ENET IDE provides textual compile and execution status and line-based errors. Those are useful foundations, not a completed accessibility audit. More testing is needed with assistive technologies and real users.
An experiment to try
Check whether actions can be reached by keyboard, whether focus remains visible and whether output can be read without relying on a glow. Zoom text and test long filenames on a small screen. Record failures as concrete tasks.
Limits and next steps
Future improvements should include user feedback and repeatable checks. A polished editor is not automatically accessible. The goal is to remove barriers from actual coding and learning workflows, not merely pass a visual inspection.
